Free webinar: Learn from a newspaper that received $300,000 of local ARPA funds for marketing grant program
Your newspaper could benefit from implementing a similar program
During a free Feb. 8 webinar, Liz White Notarangelo, publisher and executive vice president of The Record-Journal in Meriden, Connecticut, will share how the newspaper was able to gain approval for $300,000 in American Rescue Plan ACT funding.

By using the funds received and matching it dollar for dollar in free marketing, the paper soon will be providing a $4,000 free marketing grant to 150 Meriden businesses over the next four to five months.

Your newspaper needs to hear this story and see how something similar may be possible in your community.

The webinar will be held Feb. 8 at no cost to members of America's Newspapers.

3 p.m. EST | 2 p.m. CST | 1 p.m. MST | Noon PST

This webinar is a follow-up to an earlier webinar that she hosted in November titled "Building Your Advertising Grant Program." In this new webinar, she will highlight the results of the proposal that was just approved by the Meriden ARPA Committee and Meriden City Council.

It’s never been more important for local publishers to connect with their government representatives to advocate for local newspapers.
