Proceeds from this event benefit the creation of a new Senior's Fund!

Get to know SurreyCares Community Foundation!

Since 1994, SurreyCares Community Foundation has been Surrey’s charity for charities. SurreyCares makes decisions based on our local knowledge and grows capacity in the not-for-profit sector.

In 1998, the Foundation’s first locally held endowment fund was created in support of community health. By 2001, the Foundation’s largest endowment fund of $200,000 became available, creating a legacy that benefitted Surrey and our very own community foundation that now stands at over $4 million!

Throughout the years, SurreyCares Community Foundation's investments have grown, and so have our grants that support important community causes. Our grants go towards community organizations that deliver a wide range of programs, including:

  • Community Grants

  • Scholarships

  • Bursaries

  • Youth Philanthropy Initiative grant
  • City of Surrey's enhancements to Keery Park

  • Race2Resurface to resurface South Surrey Athletic Track

  • Supporting youth & families with disabilities for Surrey School District
