In the summer of 2020, Nancy broke her leg and needed help with grocery shopping. A couple from a nearby church volunteered to help. Now, nearly two years later, the grocery shopping continues as more issues have happened to Nancy. The blessing is that the couple has not only continued to buy groceries, but they have become her friends. Nancy has been at family events and part of the holidays and exchanging Christmas gifts. Nancy has never had a relationship with her family. Today she has a new family and she could not be more blessed and thankful!

14 Jesus said, “You are the light of the world.
A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.

15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.

16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds
and glorify your Father in heaven."
Matthew 5:14-16

Just as Christ was willing to bring light, love, hope, and forgiveness to His creation, so Christians today are called to step out in faith, follow Him, and deliver the same message to a world in desperate need of a Savior.

When Christians go out into the world as His feet, they also carry with them the hands of Jesus, tending, serving, and healing the world He loves and entrusts to His followers.

Thank you volunteers, for using your hands and feet to help build Christ's kingdom through VIS!
