2023 Winter Seminar & Brunch

Wintrust Bank sponsored our 2023 winter seminar on January 7th. The bank provided coffee and sweet rolls. The presentation, entitled "Module 5: Your Savings" focused on basic banking and savings opportunities; and included some information on retirement. It opened the door for scholars to ask questions and begin to think about their financial planning. The scholars asked great questions, which will be used to structure our next financial seminar. Thank you to Wintrust representatives Cindy Rawling, Lisa Winn, and Stefanie Roti for their support.

Our scholars learned a lot and found the information to be very helpful. Attendees received lovely gift bags from Wintrust containing presentation handouts and several useful tchotchkes. Following the presentation some of the first year, sophomore and junior scholars and their board mentors met for brunch at Mid Kitchen Restaurant in Evanston. The senior class met at Carolyn Utech’s home for an enjoyable brunch.
