2022 Faith Formation Conference: Share It!
Storytelling that Intersects Our Stories with the Faith Story
Gather for a fun, conversational (but structured!) workshop with the Rev. Rebecca Anderson, generating ideas and getting some tools in the mix to craft your own stories. Dream about what storytelling could do in your own setting. Consider what stories have been missing and how to invite them. Leave with ideas you can put to work in your community right away, and some inspiration for even bigger plans down the road.
What’s in it for you? Well: we’re empowered by telling our own stories, rather than consuming the stories others create about us. We find out we’re not alone when we hear about the lives of others. We learn about the on-going work of God in the world when we hear and tell stories from the Body of Christ.

United Church Homes Enliven Course offerings
We all are aging and how we think about our own aging affects how we age!
And we learned about aging from the culture and institutions around us which are full of negative stereotypes and ideas which only increase ageism.
Join Rev. Beth Long-Higgins for a 4-week exploration of what it means to be older than we were yesterday and how we can disrupt ageism in our own lives.

Strategies, Tactics, and Vision for 2022
Frederick Douglass once said, "Power concedes nothing without a demand." The next Creation Justice Webinar will focus on the art and craft of making a demand. Specifically, we will focus on how people of faith can best organize themselves to place pressure on Congress to act in 2022. For insight and guidance, we will turn to three panelists with local and national experience as organizers: the Rev. A. Kazimir Brown from the Poor People's Campaign, the Rev. Chibuzo Nimmo Petty from For Our Future, and Kim McMurray from Indivisible. Even if you can’t make the scheduled time of 1 pm ET on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 still sign-up, and you will receive a recording. Register now!
