A MESSAGE FROM THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Dear Colleague,
We are less than a month away from CUGH2023 in Washington DC. Register now on our conference website, www.cugh2023.org and check out our inspiring program and speakers. They are on the cutting edge of tackling some of the world’s biggest challenges. This will be the first time we will be meeting face-to-face since 2019. It is the must-attend meeting for faculty, practitioners, policymakers, and students from any sector and discipline who are working to improve the well-being of people and address the pressing environmental challenges before us.
Also, register separately for our free satellite sessions, April 3-7 (virtual) April 13 (in-person), the World Health Summit Regional Meeting on April 13, and the Annual CUGH-Pulitzer Center Global Health Film Festival and Communications Workshop.
President Biden released his budget proposals for FY2024. We will be on Capitol Hill, April 11 with our members. We will meet with congressional offices to support US investments in global health and development.

The University of Minnesota's Global Health Seed Grant program fosters interdisciplinary collaborations to advance new global health research.
Every spring, the Center for Global Health and Social Responsibility (CGHSR) requests proposals for annual awards of up to $25,000 to catalyze innovative global health research projects. CGHSR prioritizes projects that advance new research opportunities, particularly those based in Africa, Asia, and Latin America/Caribbean. Learn more about the grants.

Atlantic Fellows for Health Equity is searching for its 2024 cohort to join a lifelong community of health equity leaders. Through a mix of in-person convenings and a virtual curriculum, the fellowship provides mentorship and coaching to build health equity leadership skills with a focus on creating real change in fellows’ communities.
