No Children's Ministry Programming
Sunday, Jan 2 there will be no Godly Play or Bible Live! due to the holiday. See you January 9th!

Children's Beach Party!
Starting to get the winter blues? Need a change of scenery? Join us for an indoor beach party!
Who: Preschool - 5th Grade with a parent/guardian
What: Games, crafts, snacks, learn what Jesus did on the beach and more!
Where: Our Saviour's
When: Saturday, January 15th, 9-11am
Cost: $5/child. Can be paid at the event or ahead of time by placing a well labeled payment in the CYF box on the wall behind the reception desk
Other Details: Wear your favorite beach wear: Hawaiian shirt, shorts, flip flops, hats, sunglasses, sun dress, swim trunks.

Youth Game Night
6-12th Grade
Friday, January 28th,
6:30-10:30pm
A night of games – Jackbox, Sardines and more!
Pizza, snacks and beverages provided.
Bring: $10/person, phone/tablet that has web browser capability (make sure it’s charged or bring a charger – used as a controller for Jackbox games)
ALL are welcome! You are encouraged to invite friends!

CYF Volunteer Appreciation
This appreciation event is for anyone who has helped at all in 2021 with CYF Ministries: VBS, Kids' Ministries, Confirmation, events, trips, behind-the-scenes, decorating, etc.
Please join us on

Confirmation-Hosted Feed My Starving Children Service Night
Thursday, January 13
6:45pm-8:45pm
Ages 5+
This Family Service night is hosted by Confirmation but open to ALL of the Congregation! Spots limited.
Registration is open!
Who Should Come?
Ages 5 + are welcome! Need to be 5 years old to participate with parent and need to be 6th grade to participate without parent.
What time?
We will meet to check-in at 6:45 p.m. at the Coon Rapids Feed My Starving Children Location. Our shift is from 7:00 p.m.- 8:45 p.m. Pickup is at 8:45 p.m.

Participants are responsible for finding their own transportation.
How do I sign up?
A sign up can be found on the Children Youth and Family Board. Please sign up 1 person per line. Space is limited so sign up today!
Bring
Participants need to have a Permission/Emergency Form on file in order to participate. Please find that here in this e-newsletter.
Donations
Feed My Starving Children takes monetary donations and also has a store available on site. Purchases benefit the organization and the people around the world that they serve. Participants welcome to bring money to donate or shop in the store on site.

Job Opportunities at OSLC

Photographs are Ready for Pickup!
For 9th graders who were confirmed this fall, your printed photographs are ready for pickup at Our Saviour's. They can be found behind the main reception desk on the cabinet along the wall. Pick up any time during regular business hours.

Quake is Back!!!
Who: 6-12th Graders
What: A weekend gathering exploring faith, Christian living, a life of ministry and leadership… through speakers, music, breakout sessions and so much more amazingness!
Where: Minneapolis/St Paul Airport Mall of America, 3800 American Boulevard East, Bloomington 55425
Cost:
$165 if paid by 1/31/2022
Register: Make checks out to Our Saviour’s Lutheran Chruch, write “Quake” and the participant’s name in the memo. Place registration check in the box labeled “Youth” on the wall behind the reception desk. You are considered registered once your payment is received.
Other Important Info: Must have an Offisite Permission Form (for 2021-2022) on file to attend. You will also be asked to contribute a few food items (will be communicated after sign-ups are complete). We will be making meals in our hotel room to increase fellowship, fun, and to save money. No other cost will be incurred during the event unless you want to bring money for event memorabilia.
Adults Needed: Adults 21+ needed. Please email Leisha or sign up on the CYF Board in the rotunda if you are interested.
