Other Alumni News

Election Tuesday was a big night for THS. 2005 graduate Justin M. Bibb was named the new Mayor of Cleveland and 2010 graduate Bridget Boyle was elected as the new City Council President of Tiffin, Ohio! Justin actually stopped by for a surprise visit to his alma mater on Election Day where he says "it all began." Congratulations to two of our wonderful alums and their commitment to public service!

Thank you for the initial stories sharing your memories of our Founding President, Sr. Catherine Britton. We would love to hear from you and any story you may have involving Sr. Catherine. You can easily do that here.
#GiveTrojanBlue is Tuesday, November 30
The month of November will conclude with Giving Tuesday, and what we affectionately call #GiveTrojanBlue, the 24 hour online day of giving known in the Diocese of Cleveland as #weGiveCatholic. We have had tremendous success over the past couple of years and hope to do the same this year.

Every dollar donated from midnight to midnight on November 30 will go to our transformational Pre-Professional Internship Program, giving opportunities to our students they wouldn't have otherwise! All day we will be sharing videos, stories, and pictures of this unique program changing Cleveland's workforce since 2009 using the hashtag #GiveTrojanBlue.

Also, be looking for announcements that day on two special 60 minute blocks where the Diocese will be matching dollar for dollar every $100 donation that is made to go toward tuition assistance! Bishop Malesic is set to make the first announcement of which hour your donations will be doubled sometime after 9:00 AM.

It's very fast and easy to support THS, just visit our special #GiveTrojanBlue webpage that is already live or use our New Venmo account @TrinityHighSchool.

We are so grateful for your wonderful gifts to our community!
Back and Better Than Ever, May 6, 2022
In 2020 and 2021, Out of the Blue made history with its first ever solely virtual events. In 2022, OOTB will be making history again as on May 6, we will have our inaugural combined in person and online extravaganza! The night will include one of the best celebrations of the Spring, with the silent auction, raffles, catered meal, open bar, and more, but this year, those who cannot attend will still enjoy the night from wherever they are! Anyone will be able to look in on the fesitivities, see if they won any of our cash raffles, bid against others in the silent auction and enjoy the 17th annual celebration of all that is good with Trinity High School. In the coming weeks we will keep all of you informed as new information arises.

A couple of early announcements that we can share with you now:

***We will raffle off the first $1,000 of our $10,000 Out of the Blue Raffle on April 1, 2022. The winner will be selected and announced on Facebook Live at 2:30 PM Just purchase a $100 ticket(s) from now until 2:00 PM on April 1 to be eligible for the Early Bird Drawing. We will raffle off 3 more prizes on May 6; a $5,000 Grand Prize, a $3,000 First Prize and a $1,000 Second Prize. Only 200 tickets are sold so your chances of winning are very good.

Even if you win the Early Bird Drawing, your ticket goes back into the hopper for the remaining $9,000 during the actual event in May! Just fill out this short form or contact Mr. Burke directly at burket@ths.org or 216-581-5757.

***The April 1 Early Bird Drawing will kick off the first of five Fabulous Fridays in April. Each Friday, a new auction item will be featured to be bid on and won. Last year we had great fun and success with items like a unique Cheif Wahoo Indians rug, an Ohio State laser engraved fire pit, and other great items! All who are registered will be eligible during these silent auction weekends.

***March 2-3, 2022 is slated to be our annual I <3 THS Donation Drop Day. So save those gifts for Christmas you can't use, donate a vacation package, sports memorabilia, event tickets, jewelry, art, once in a lifetime experiences, and more that will make our auction bigger and better than ever! We have even created a "Wish List" to help guide you. Look for upcoming announcments regarding drop off times, what students will receive for their donations, and what special prizes can be won by anyone who donates items to be auctioned off at OOTB.
Annual Christmas Tradition Returns
Each Christmas season until last December, Trinity hosted a very special CHRISTmas Retreat at Camp Christopher, and we are happy to announce that tradition has returned Saturday, December 11! This special day will give you an opportunity to take a step back from the hustle and bustle of the holiday season to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. All are invited and it is Free!

You and your family will spend the day with members of the Trinity community, reflect on the true meaning of Christmas, bond with family and friends, and prepare yourself spiritually for the Christmas season. The day promises to put you in the Christmas spirit like no other event all holiday season.

Light refreshments will be served throughout the day, followed by a family dinner. The CHRISTmas Retreat concludes with the Saturday Vigil Mass.

To RSVP, simply fill out the short form on this page. Please park in the lower parking lot at Camp Christopher between 11:30 AM and 12:00 PM. Retreat team members will be there to greet and guide you as you make your way up the driveway. Guests with disabilities may be dropped off at the top of the driveway at Camp.

We look forward to seeing you during this beautiful Season of Advent.

The placement exam, unlike an entrance exam, does not determine whether or not a student is accepted to Trinity.

Register Now and we will see you the morning of December 4.
