Thank You for Supporting

TASC's Fall Music Festival!

We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you who attended, volunteered, performed, and supported TASC's Fall Music Festival this year! Your presence and enthusiasm transformed this event into a memorable celebration of music, community, and shared commitment to a noble cause.

The event featured an incredible lineup of live music performances by TASC clients, the TASC ASL Choir, the DRIVE, JD Nash, and James Ian. In addition to the outstanding music, our Festival included a delicious array of food and drinks, carnival games and rides, a petting zoo, and silent auction.

All the proceeds from this event will go directly to TASC, fueling our efforts to empower individuals with developmental disabilities. With your support, we can continue to make a difference in the lives of those who need it most, fostering a society where everyone is given the chance to thrive.

Once again, thank you for being an essential part of TASC's Fall Music Festival. We look forward to seeing you again at future events!

Congratulations to our raffle winner, Vivi Jimenez. She won a $50 Regal gift card. It pays to be a TASC newsletter subscriber!

National Disability Employment Awareness Month

October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month, a time to celebrate the countless contributions of individuals with disabilities in the workplace. At TASC, we firmly believe that everyone, regardless of their disability, deserves the opportunity to work and contribute meaningfully to society.

We are proud to employ a proven approach known as Customized Employment. This tailored method allows us to create personalized employment opportunities for individuals, regardless of their level of disability. By focusing on individual strengths, skills, and interests, we can match them with the right job, ensuring a perfect fit for both the employee and the employer. Through Customized Employment, we achieve long-term outcomes, transforming lives and helping individuals become productive members of the integrated workforce.

Employment is not just about earning a living; it’s about building a future. Through work, individuals with disabilities gain more than financial independence. They experience a sense of pride, knowing they are supporting themselves and contributing to society. Moreover, employment expands social networks and fosters new relationships, offering invaluable opportunities for inclusion and belonging. By working together, we not only create jobs but also cultivate a sense of community where everyone is valued.

As we mark National Disability Employment Awareness Month, let us celebrate the abilities, talents, and resilience of individuals with disabilities. Let us acknowledge their potential and honor their contributions. At TASC, we are committed to creating a world where everyone is empowered to work, where abilities are recognized, and where inclusivity thrives.
