Online store open through Oct. 17

The online BCA apparel shop sponsored by Sports Spectrum is once aain for families to order hoodies, sweatshirts and other types of BCA items now through Oct. 17.

Click HERE to order BCA apparel on the online store using code BCAFALL21R2. Families may order through 11:59 p.m., Oct. 17, 2021. At that time, the online store will close temporarily to fill orders and will reopen online in early November 2021 for families to place orders once again.
Fall Break

BCA will be closed Oct. 11 - 15 for Fall Break.

K - 8th Grade Families: 

Due to lack of staffing, we will not be able to offer child care that week to families who have a current kindergarten - 8th grade student. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause our families.

We will be open as usual for infants - PK4.

End of First Quarter

Today, Friday, Oct. 8 is the last day of the first quarter. Report cards
will be available on Headmaster after fall break. Please be sure to
mark your calendar to view your student's report card on Wed., Oct. 20.
Parent/Teacher Conference Day - Oct. 29

School for kindergarten - 8th grade will be closed on Fri., Oct. 29 for Parent/Teacher Conference Day.

Teachers for grades PK3 – 8th grade will be contacting you regarding a conference for your student. There will be no child care provided for students in K – 8th on this day.
Infants – PK4 will be open as usual.

Blue Jean Dollar Day

We will continue to have monthly Blue Jean Dollar Days to support various charities. Our next Blue Jean Dollar Day will be Fri., Oct. 22.
Students who donate at least $1 that day may wear blue jeans along with a dress code shirt. Proceeds will go to Trinity HOPE.


Picture Retake Day is scheduled for Wed., Nov. 10.
Publix Supports Schools!

BCA has participated in the Publix Partners program for several years, but each year, families must re-enroll for BCA to continue to earn cash!

To learn more about Publix Partners, click HERE. If you have registered with Publix in the past, log in with your current email and password and follow steps to ensure that Belvoir Christian Academy is still associated with your account. When you shop, you simply enter your phone number at check-out.


Remember to take part in the Food City School Bucks program as well, and help BCA just by grocery-shopping there and at Publix!
BCA Fun Run - More Success Updates!

Student Artwork
Mrs. Ware (K) and Mrs. McCall (5th - 8th) work together to teach art to the K - 8th grade students each week. Recently, students were given a sheet with a "squiggly" line and tasked to create a picture out of the original design. They came up with some awesome artwork!
The K - 4th graders learned about the Color Wheel and how mixing primary colors will create secondary colors!
Cross Country Team News

Congratulations to our cross country team on completing the regular season. Great job everyone!

We also congratulate the following athletes!
  • Thompson Guy, 6th grade, finished 2nd in his grade.
  • Margret McCall, 6th grade, finished 4th in her grade.
  • Edith McCall, 8th grade, finished 1st in her grade.

These athletes received ribbons throughout the season by finishing in the top 15 for each race.
For the entire season, overall these students finished:
  • Lucas Harriss, 4th grade, finished 7th.
  • William McCall, 3rd grade, finished 5th.
  • Jackson Barber, 3rd grade, finished 7th.
Soccer Season Begins Soon

We will offer intramural soccer for kindergarten, first and second grade students. The first practice will be Fri., Oct. 22 at 3:30, and each Friday after school following until the season ends. A parent meeting will be held following this first practice. SHIN GUARDS are needed.

While we do not have a soccer coach for 3rd - 8th grade teams, the season will begin the Tuesday after Fall Break, Oct. 19. Practices will be every Tuesday/Thursday from 3:30 to - 4:15 p.m. Athletes will need shin guards as well (and cleats, if possible).

If your child is interested in participating on the intramural soccer team for K-2nd intramural or the league-level play for 3rd -8th grade, please contact Mrs. Barber at sbarber@bcacademy.net. Also contact her if you are interested in coaching.

Soccer Shots for K - 2nd

Soccer Shots is offering classes for kindergarten - 2nd grade.

The program is currently being offered to our PK2 - PK4 children, Friday mornings, but students in kindergarten - 2nd grade can now take part in classes offered Friday afternoons. To learn more and register, click HERE.

The program has a minimum number of students required to sign up before the class can be offered on Friday afternoons. If you are interested, please sign up at the link provided.
Trunk-or-Treat - Sat., Oct. 30

Good Shepherd Lutheran Church (next door to BCA) will be hosting Trunk-or-Treat in the back parking lot of the church on Sat., Oct. 30, 2021 from 6 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. There is a sign-up sheet in the church Narthex if you would like to participate by decorating the trunk of your car. Please call Good Shepherd Lutheran Church at 423-629-4661 with any questions.

Everyone is invited to attend the COMBINED SERVICE at 10 a.m.
Not only is October 31st Reformation Sunday, but it is also Homecoming Sunday for all of Good Shepherd!
