SBDM Parent Election 


Our SBDM Parent Election is this Tuesday, May 10th during office hours in our main office (7:30am-3:30pm) as well as during our Undergrad Awards Night on May 10th (5:30-8:30 p.m.).

ACT Prep at Cooper


Our Youth Service Center has secured an ACT Prep course through Mathnasium.  Only $25 for eight hours of ACT test prep.  Sign up today! 


Dates: May 31st, June 2nd, June 7th and June 9th from 10am until 12pm in the library.

ACT Test


You have until May 20th (late registration fee applies) to sign up for the ACT Test on June 11th. 


Students that have free/reduced lunch status can take the ACT for free twice, in addition to the state provided ACT test for all juniors in March. Students with free/reduced lunch status should stop by the guidance office to pick up a form to receive two free ACT tests.

Medication Pick Up


If your child has medication at school it must be picked up in the First Aid Room (FAR). You may pick up this medication any time prior to the last day of school, Friday, May 20th.

 

Medication may not be transported from school to home with students. Seniors 18 and over, with parent permission (please send in a note to the FAR), may sign out their medication, if they drive.  


Please note the First Aid Room will close for the summer on Monday, May 23rd. Medication is not permitted to be kept over the summer. Any medication not picked up by the end of the Monday, May 23rd will be discarded.

 

Office hours are 7:00am - 3:30pm, Monday - Friday.

Girls Golf Interest Meeting


Any girls interested in playing golf there will be an interest meeting on Thursday, May 12th at 6pm in the library. 


Girls who will attend Cooper and who will be in Grades 7-12 during the 2022-2023 are eligible.

Graduate Lawn Sign Up


Parents/Seniors can pick up Graduate Lawn Signs on the following dates: 


  • Tuesday May 10th 5:30-7:30pm (during Undergrad Awards) 
  • Sunday May 15th 12-1pm (outside main entrance)
  • Wednesday May 18th 6-7pm (during Senior Honors Night)

Graduate Message on LED Ribbon  

 

Attention parents, grandparents, friends, and family, your family member or friend is graduating soon at BB&T Arena. Create a memory that will last forever by taking advantage of this tremendous opportunity to give your graduate a special announcement for everyone to see. 


Put your announcement on BB&T Arena's LED Ribbon Boards!   Each ribbon board message is only $15.00 per line (maximum of 2 lines per graduate). Each line has a maximum of 50 characters including spaces. Announcements will run for approximately 10 seconds each, and will run multiple times throughout the entire commencement ceremony. Message rotation will vary upon the number of requests received.

Final Exams-Seniors & Underclassmen


Senior Final Exams

Thursday, May 12th - periods 2, 4 and 6


Friday, May 13th - periods 1, 3 and 5


No modified schedule for these exams.


Underclassmen Final Exams: 


Wednesday, May 18th, periods 1 and 6


Thursday, May 19th, periods 2 and 5

Friday, May 20th, periods 3 and 4


Our daily schedule will be modified to accommodate extended time for finals. 


No Early Exams permitted. 

Chromebook & Charger Collection


Reminder:  Students that have a school issued chromebook AND charger will be turning those items in (as well as any textbooks and classroom resources/items) according to the schedule listed below:


Friday May 13th: SENIORS only through their 6th period class. 


Friday, May 20th:  Grades 9-11 students through their 6th period class. 


If either/both items are missing, a fee will be charged. 

Final Transcript, Files & Email 

 

Seniors will need to log in to Parchment AFTER graduation to have their FINAL transcript sent to the post secondary institution they plan on attending.  This needs to be done prior to July 22 to avoid a processing fee thereafter. 


Don't forget to change your email to a personal email.  School email for graduates will be deleted on May 20.


Please make sure you download any files you need and change your email on any important accounts to a personal email.  Download any content from your Boone County Schools (BCS) One Drive, Google, and/or Canvas accounts that you wish to save.  Access to all of these ends on Friday, May 20.

Senior Activities


May 16

The Army National Guard is sponsoring a field day at the stadium with obstacles courses, games, climbing wall as well as a catered lunch.  This all happens between 10-2p.


May 18

Senior Breakfast with Honor Roll & Perfect Attendance Awards at 8:00 a.m. in the commons.  Cap/Gown is needed.  Senior Class Picture, Senior Walk through Longbranch and Honorary Diploma Presentations also take place. 


Senior Honors Night, 6:00 p.m., Gymnasium


May 19

Senior Trip to Kings Island-arrive to school no later than  8:30 a.m. to board busses at 9:00 a.m.


May 20

Graduation Practice at BB&T Arena.  Arrive to school no later than 8:30 a.m. to board busses at 9:00 a.m.  No cap/gown needed.


May 22

Baccalaureate Service at 7 Hills, 6:30 p.m.  

Dinner is provided and RSVP is required by May 16: register

Cooper Boys Basketball Camp


Head Coach Tim Sullivan and players of of Cooper High School, will conduct a basketball camp this summer. Individual instruction, individual and team competition, daily contests and awards. 


Where: Cooper High School

When:  June 20-23 Time: 9am-12pm 

Cost:   $75 per player (sibling discounts available)
