Half Day Snack

Merienda de medio día:

What’s half day snack? During the half days (November 6th, 7th, and 8th) the PTO sells and delivers snacks to students. You are able to purchase as many snacks as you’d like for your student(s), but you must pre-order. No snacks can be bought the day of, so the pre-order is the only way to participate. We do not have extra inventory, so please purchase in a timely fashion. We recommend it now ;) Please click here to purchase half-day snack. Of important note, there are GF options for every single snack day. Orders are due by 10/27 with no exceptions.

¿Qué es la merienda de medio día? Durante los medios días (6, 7 y 8 de noviembre), el PTO vende y entrega refrigerios a los estudiantes. Puede comprar tantos refrigerios como desee para su(s) estudiante(s), pero debe realizar un pedido por adelantado. No se podrán comprar snacks el día del, por lo que la reserva es la única forma de participar. No tenemos inventario adicional, así que compre de manera oportuna. Pumpkins and Poems is a fun PTO contest that runs in late October. Please see the flier in English or Spanish for important entry information and due dates.

The 5th Grade Student Council will be conducting its first service project of the year. They will be collecting, sorting, and delivering donated cans of dog and cat food to St. Hubert's Animal Shelter in Madison. Starting on Monday, October 23rd, all KRS students are encouraged to bring in canned dog and cat food. The canned food drive will officially end on November 15th. Canned dog and cat food can be dropped off at the bins in each hallway and/or given to any faculty member.

El Consejo Estudiantil de 5to Grado estará llevando a cabo su primer proyecto de servicio del año. Recolectarán, clasificarán y entregarán latas donadas de comida para perros y gatos al Refugio de Animales St. Hubert en Madison. A partir del lunes 23 de octubre, se anima a todos los estudiantes de KRS a traer comida enlatada para perros y gatos. La colecta de alimentos enlatados finalizará oficialmente el 15 de noviembre. La comida enlatada para perros y gatos se puede dejar en los contenedores de cada pasillo y/o entregársela a cualquier miembro de la facultad.

Madison Public Schools has a bond referendum vote forthcoming on 12/12/23. You can learn about the bond referendum via the website, but we’re encouraging all members of the KRS community to sign up here for our PTO meeting on 11/16. Members of the BOE will be present to address questions regarding the referendum. We recognize a 6:30 p.m. meeting is not ideal due to schedules, but we’re asking for you to prioritize given the topic and BOE presentation/presence. The meeting is 11/16 @6:30 p.m. at KRS.

Las Escuelas Públicas de Madison tendrán una votación de referéndum sobre bonos el 12/12/23.
