BOGO Bulb Sale
We're holding a Buy One Get One Bulb Sale this Saturday, October 9th from 8 AM to 2 PM!

This sale will be held outside Arbor House next to the R Street entrance. Get ready for fall planting with bags of tulips, anemone, camissia, galanthus, narcissus, fritillaria, and more!

For every bag of bulbs you buy, you get one free of equal or lesser value. We're only accepting credit and debit cards for this sale.
FONA's Fall 5K Run
There's still time to join us this Saturday, October 9th for our Fall 5K run! Sign up today and join hundreds of other fall fanatics as you take in the National Arboretum's open roads and colorful foliage!

The course's gentle hills and spacious roads are stroller and dog friendly and approachable for any experience level. Tickets are $30 (20% off for FONA members). Runners have a staggered start between 9 and 10 AM.

Thankfully, DCist just came out with their recommendations for leaf peeping in the DC area, ranging from the National Arboretum to Shenandoah National Park.

On October 7th from 6 to 7:30 PM, explore Japanese Zen gardens from your home during an exclusive virtual garden tour of the Konchi-in Zen garden in Kyoto, Japan. Hosted by the Japan America Society of Washington DC, this tour will visit shrines and gardens throughout the main grounds of this major Japanese Zen temple.

The Arboretum is open every day from 8 AM to 5 PM except December 25th. Some buildings and collections remain closed to ensure visitor and staff safety.
