A Message from the Principal

Congratulations

Congratulations to all of the 8th graders who received the sacrament of Confirmation this past week. May you continue to follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit, always stay strong in your faith, and follow God’s plan for you!

Congratulations to the ASCS Chess team. They won 5th place overall out of 20 schools at their first tournament of the year!

Halloween at ASCS

Get ready for the Halloween celebration!

All students in grades PK- 5 may wear their Halloween costumes to school on Monday, October 31.

Middle School students may choose to either wear a costume or have a "Black and Orange" Dress Down Day. Younger students who do not wear costumes may do the same. Be sure that your child’s costume is comfortable for them to wear. Costumes need to be appropriate for a Catholic School. Please: NO props, NO masks, and NO weapons.

The teachers (grades PK - 5) will give their own small celebrations in their homerooms. The middle school party is in the dining hall. Please do not send in any treats to school unless you are specifically directed to do so by the teacher or room mothers. Please be respectful of this request.

We will have a Halloween Parade around the track this year weather permitting. We will begin lining up at 10:00AM.

Parents are invited (You don’t need a costume- just wear your smile!). Please go directly to the track when you arrive. When the parade is over, please return to your cars and wait there for dismissal to begin.

October 31 is an early dismissal day. There is no Extended Day program and no other after-school activities.

Middle School Harvest Dance

The Middle School Harvest Dance will be held on OCTOBER 28 from 7:00PM- 9:00PM in the school cafeteria.  Last day to purchase tickets is Thursday, October 27.
