The Ethics of Lashon Hara
October 25, November 1, 8, and 15, 7:00 - 8:30 pm
Judaism teaches that we have the power to create or destroy worlds with our speech. How can we, at Sha’ar Zahav, live out our ethics through speech and writing? On zoom? In emails? On community listservs? In this study group, we will examine Jewish teachings about Lashon Hara, literally “evil tongue” and ethical speech. Led by Rabbi Mychal Copeland, no prior experience with the topic or texts necessary. Free for SZ members; $60 for non-members.
