MP Construction Partners Step Up with Donations
Special thanks to MP Construction partners Lowe Electric and Griffin Lumber for the donation of materials needed to prepare for the 2021 Skills Challenge. We all know that Practice Makes Perfect, but construction contest practice is expensive! Without the help of our industry partners the MP competitors would not be as well positioned to win the gold medal in their respective contests.
Residential Electrical Wiring contestants (l to r): Preston Young, Evan Bertram & Gavin Parker
show their appreciation to Lowe Electric of Macon for their donation of electrical materials.

JROTC Precision Air Rifle Team Tryouts
The Precision Air Rifle Team will begin tryouts for the 2021-2022 season after we return from Fall Break. The air rifles used by MPHS are Olympic grade Walthers. The course of fire is the standard 3 position, (prone, standing, kneeling) 10 meter range shooting a 10 bull target. Hitting a bullseye here is the same as hitting a quarter at 100 yards with a regular rifle. Stay tuned for more info on tryouts after the break.
