THE DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT - HOW CAN YOU HELP!

Dear CTC Academy Parents and Guardians,

Happy Fall! It was so nice to see many of you at “Back To School Night” and, as promised, I am sending you the volunteer opportunity form, “How You Can Help.”

For those of you who were not able to join us here’s a bit of a summary:

Development works to raise funds and awareness to support all aspects of the CTC program. The CTC Academy is a non-profit organization and as such, our development efforts have been focused on supporting the expansion and enhancement of the campuses, securing donated monies for special adaptive equipment, funding parent and sibling support, as well as the Early Enrichment Program. We raise these necessary funds through special event fundraising, individual giving, foundation, and corporate gifts as well as business and corporate matching gift programs (we encourage you to ask if your employer matches gifts)!

We are so thankful for the continued support we receive from you, the CTC community of families and friends. Support doesn’t just mean contributing financially, we have received so much through your suggestions and connections - people you know who have become friends to CTC Academy. There are many opportunities for you to become more involved in the happenings at CTC – event committees, development volunteering, attending parent and sibling groups and so much more! These extra-curricular activities serve as a great vehicle for parents to come together, share experiences and make new acquaintances. As always, thank you for letting us work with and treasure our time with your beautiful children.

Sincerely,

Audra Hoffman, Director of Development

Last month our Fair Lawn students visited the local farmers market which "Naturally" that led us to: The Great Apple Showdown: Red vs. Green!

Ladies and gentlemen, gather 'round, because today, we're tackling one of life's most perplexing dilemmas: the epic battle of red apples versus green apples!

In the red corner, we have the "Classic Crusaders." These apples are like the Taylor Swift of the fruit world – universally loved and always in style.

And in the green corner, it's the "Sour Sensations!" These apples are the edgy rebels of the orchard, daring you to take a bite and challenge your taste buds.

Who's the winner in this epic showdown? Well, folks, the truth is, it's all about personal preference! Red or green, both apples bring something unique to the table. So go out there and enjoy an apple today, whichever you prefer!

Hydrotherapy is a great way to help our students. It can help them improve their motor skills, coordination and balance. It can also help them reduce pain and stiffness.

It was a lovely day at both CTC campuses and we were so grateful to all the grandparents visiting. There is such a special bond and relationship between grandchild and grandparent.
