Code amendment processes snap shot

We are halfway through the amendment process review for the I-Codes. Residential, Existing Building, Building, National Energy Code, Mechanical, Plumbing and Fuel-Gas, committees have concluded their review. The Spa & Pool Code, Fuel Code and Energy Conservation Code committees begin their evaluation this month and in June. Tracking of proposed amendments, meeting dates, and more can be viewed on the ICC Code updates website.

The Planning Commission Advisory Committee (PCTAC) is almost done with the full analysis of the submitted proposed amendments to the Unified Development Code (Ch. 35). Once finished, all amendments will be sent to the appropriate boards and commission for consideration. You can preview the items slated for the Planning Commission ahead of time. Once posted, final agendas can be seen at SASpeakUp.

DSD began the processes for both the City's Sign Code (Ch. 28) and the San Antonio Property Maintenance Code (SAPMC) last month. The review will continue for the next few months.

All meetings are available on livestream.
