The City of Helena has been recognized by the American Public Works Association Rocky Mountain Chapter for its reconstruction project of Front Street, receiving the chapter’s 2019 Project of the Year award. The presentation of the award, which was specific to projects costing over $3 million, was recently presented at an AWPA Conference.
Engineer Matt Culpo (pictured above) managed the project for the City. The Front Street Project was designed by KLJ Engineering and constructed by Helena Sand and Gravel.
The City has issued a building permit for a new US Foods Chef's Store, which will be located at 2885 N. Sanders Street. The permit was issued on April 25.
