Spacewalk: Libretto Reading and Reception

Based on the first all-female spacewalk in 2019, Lehman Professor Jennifer Jolley composed this 7-vignette opera with a libretto read by Hai-Ting Chinn. This event takes place at Opera America's Marc A. Scorca Hall. Get your free tickets.

Dance in Dialog is an annual series that starts conversations about dance and explores the process of making dances. Guest artists Mary Sofianos and Stephen Hill worked with students to create this year's pieces. Q&A with artists and dancers will follow. Get free tickets.

Gesy in Basketball Uniform

"I want to inspire other New Yorkers to pursue their dreams of going to college."

Lehman social work student Gesy Duran spoke at the State of CUNY 2023 Event. Among her many accomplishments, some from before transferring to Lehman from BMCC, Gesy won the national Blackstone Launchpad ideas competition for inventing Wheel-eating, a portable serving tray that adapts to any table for wheelchair users.
