La Grande Soiree
from French General
by Moda
These new French General prints are a bit softer than some of their previous lines. We love the faded reds and the delicate floral motifs. Look closely at the creamy focus floral (bottom right in photo) and you'll see some pale blue and pale gold accenting the reds and greens - both beautiful and subtle!
Little Forest
from Nina Stajner
by dear Stella
Baby animals get us every time! We can't help but 'Aww!' when we see them. These forest animal prints are perfect for any baby project you want to make, girl or boy. There is quite a variety of animals here, from hedgehogs to foxes, and bears to bunnies. Crib sheet? Curtains? Cushions for the nursery rocking chair? These work for all of that!
24/7: Linen
by Hoffman Fabrics
Did you know Hoffman makes more than just batiks? This line of quilting cotton is simple - just a linen look. But you'll see that the linen look works in so many ways! Block backgrounds and landscape parts and pieces are just the beginning. And with great colors like these, you'll find all kinds of places to tuck them into your quilts.
Tropicalism
by Free Spirit
Pow! Look at all that color! Yes, this line definitely makes us think of tropical islands, sun, and warm breezes. Maybe it's time to design a quilt to get you through the cold winter. The oranges, teals, blues, and greens here will chase away the winter grays, no matter the project. Maybe you can make something easy like a new bag, to prepare for your next island getaway!
Happiness Blooms
from Deb Strain
by Moda
Sweet florals combine with small, simple prints in this line. The dark backgrounds really make the motifs shine. Using the fabrics here, you can create a stunning quilt for yourself. Or, if you like to go more scrappy, pick a focus and a few coordinates, then hit your stash to see how many fabrics you can find to match. Do you want a brighter look? Start with the fern print (bottom in photo) as your focus/border.
Dazzle
from Jason Yenter
by In the Beginning Fabrics
Oh, how we love this line! Purple and teal is a stunning combination - we hear that a lot from our customers, and the staff agrees with you. We're all going to be choosing prints from this group and planning fun projects. The large florals (top and bottom in photo) need to be seen up close, so make sure you stop in and check them out.
Batiks
by Hoffman
Our batik section is now overflowing with fabulous new fabrics! The latest to arrive include several cool colors (photo at right), and a group of brights (photo below). Aren't we always looking to supplement our stash? There's plenty here to choose from, no matter what color or style you need.
Thank you for being our customer, for supporting us, and thank you for continuing to believe in shopping local.
