Faculty Spotlight
Dr. Miguel Velez-Reyes, NOAA CESSRST Campus PI, The University of Texas delivered a seminar titled, 'Hyperspectral Remote Sensing: Models, Algorithms, and Applications' on November 9, 2021. Dr. Velez-Reyes discussed approaches to model hyperspectral imagery, the information extraction algorithms they inspire, and applications in Earth Science and other domains. The seminar was part of the CESSRST Seminar Series and was attended by the CESSRST community.

The EPP/MSI Undergraduate Scholarship provides awards of up to $9,500 per year for two years of undergraduate study to rising juniors at Minority Serving Institutions who are majoring in STEM fields that directly support NOAA's mission.
