This week sees the start of our 12 session course "Financial Information for Business Owners". Hopefully you will have received emails containing the full course details. Then, later this month on Weds 17th, we have our next face to face networking breakfast which takes place at The Olive Tree Cafe, at Ashtead Park Garden Centre. Tickets for this can be purchased HERE.

MARY FRANCES TRUST - Mary Frances Trust (MFT) are launching their annual Christmas Jumper Day fundraiser. It’s easy to organise within your business or organisation as most people have something festive they can wear, and with a suggested donation of £2 per person it’s a fundraising initiative which is accessible to all. You choose the day in December when you wear your festive kit. You may even want to add a festive cake sale into the fundraising mix? All proceeds will go to MFT – an established Surrey Downs (which includes Mole Valley) charity which supports people who are experiencing any type of mental and emotional wellbeing difficulties. CURRENT VACANCIES
The Grange at Bookham have 2 new vacancies. As always, please share if you know of anyone who may be suitable.
TEMPORARY FINANCE ASSISTANT - 21 hours per week. Taking responsibility for the sales ledger process, ensuring the smooth flow of income to the charity which is critical in delivering it's services and strategic objective. Full details can be found HERE.
They also require a SENIOR SUPPORT WORKER (Off Site) - Full time role providing dedicated support for adults with learning difficulties in a way which enables them to increase independence and skills over time, and to live a safe and satisfying daily life. Full details HERE.
Chamber members Kall Kwik Leatherhead are also asking for assistance. They have been awarded a placement under the Government Kickstart Scheme for a part time printers assistant but have been unsuccessful in reaching any applicants. The position is available for someone currently on universal credit but will provide 6 months of great work experience and training in a busy print shop. If you know of anyone who would be keen to learn more about the role and fits the criteria, please email [email protected].
