In the sure and certain hope of the Resurrection to eternal life
Fr. Mark & Mother Catherine would like to inform the parish of the death of longtime member Adrian Bogart, Jr. Please keep his entire family in your prayers. A wake will be held on Friday, December 3, 2021, from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm at the Oyster Bay Funeral Home, and a Memorial Service will be held on January 20, 2022 at St. John's.
"Almighty God, our Father in heaven, before whom live all who die in the Lord: Receive our brother Adrian into the courts of your heavenly dwelling place. Let his heart and soul now ring out in joy to you, O Lord, the living God, and the God of those who live. This we ask through Christ our Lord. Amen."

One of the most magical of nights at St Johns
during Advent!
Preparing for the birth of the Christ Child with pageantry, excitement and lots of glitter! Each year these delicate Christingle Orbs need some surgery thus birthing what we call our Christingle Orb Hospital.
The children love these pomander inspired processional Orbs originally created by the same company, Stiegelbauer Associates, who make all the sets for Saturday Night Live!
And we know God loves glitter and our Christingle Orbs because Nicole Stiegelbauer Montenegro was here turning our cloister into a magical glitter emporium not unlike a Christmastide classroom at Hogwarts!

Thank you to the most wonderful ORB team and festive first responders!!!! Lindsay Fox and sons James and Brooks, Alicia Scanlon with daughter Alia, Nicole Montenegro with daughter Skyler and Junie and Anne Clark with their sitter named Courtney!
It was amazing to see the transformation and how the orbs sparkled with a little love, glitter, glue and ribboning!

St. John’s of Lattingtown will once again be participating in
Adopt-A-Family this Christmas season. Many families in our
communities struggle financially, especially during the holidays.
This program, in conjunction with the Episcopal Diocese of Long Island, provides an opportunity to ‘adopt’ and support our own local families. We appreciate your generosity! Thank you!
