Woodlawn's Easter Week Services Schedule

See below for the times and places of our Easter Services. We look forward to worshipping with you on this special day as we celebrate together our Risen Savior! 

Sunday, April 13th - Palm Sunday

At the beginning of the W@W service and 10:15am Contemporary service, our children from each service will lead us with the waving of palms to celebrate the start of Holy Week. Please plan to arrive 15 minutes before service to get all children checked in and lined up.

Thursday, April 17th - Celebrate the Cross

6:00pm - Celebrate the Cross Service (Youth/CR Bldg)

Come join us for a special service during Holy Week, Celebrate the Cross. This will take place during our weekly Celebrate Recovery program; all are welcome and we look forward to worshipping with our church family.

Friday, April 18th - Good Friday

6:30pm - Beacon Light Worship (Youth/CR Bldg)

Sunday, April 20th - Easter Sunday

7:00am - Sunrise Service (Sharky’s Restaurant)

8:30am - W@W (Sharky’s Restaurant)

9:00am - Traditional Worship (Worship Center)

10:15am - Contemporary Worship (Youth/CR Bldg & café)

12:00pm - Beacon Light Worship (Youth/CR Bldg)

Woodlawn's Men's Ministry

Spring Cook BBQ - 2025

6-8 Pound Whole Premium BBQ Smoked Ham - $35.00

Orders due by: Monday, April 7th

Pick up orders: Sunday, April 13th

Time: 10:00am - 11:45am

Place: In the Church parking lot

Go to BBQ to place your order; you can pay online or at pickup. Proceeds will support the Woodlawn Men's Ministries.

The Church Office is Closed:

Monday, April 21st we are closed, and we will reopen on Tuesday, April 22nd.

Grief Share

Wednesdays from 9:30 - 11:45am

in the Youth/CR Building

The loss of a loved one can be such a painful and isolating experience. We believe that Christ offers us healing and hope in the midst of our pain and Grief Share is a wonderful place to navigate the pain of grief. If you are grieving the loss of a loved one, we would love to walk with you toward a future of healing. If you have questions, contact Cameron Winton cameron@woodlawnpcb.org.

Note: Our next cycle begins on April 9th and will run through July 2nd.

Divorce Care

Wednesdays from 5:30 - 7:30pm

in the Dot Wood Room

Dealing with the pain of a separation or divorce can be overwhelming. We invite you to connect with Divorce Care and find the support you need to receive true healing. Check out woodlawnpcb.info/care to see all of our care ministry options & let us know how we can walk with you. Note: Our last meeting for this cycle is April 16th; we will start meeting again on August 20th. See you then!

Woodlawn Kids News

Wednesdays from 5:15 - 7:00pm

in the Children's Building

WK's Wednesday night programming is designed for children in Preschool through 5th grade! Check-in each week in the Children's Building at 5:15pm, with supper being served ($2 donation requested). Pickup is at 7:00pm.

Crafts @ The Park

Wednesday, April 9th at 10:00am

We are going to be meeting at Frank Brown Park at the pavilion so plan to join us for an Easter activity and snacks! We would love to have you and feel free to invite a friend! We hope to see you there.

Family Serve Night

April 16th at Seagrass

5:15 - 7:00pm

Wednesday night kids will still meet in the Children's Building at 5:15pm. We will serve dinner and then the children will ride the bus over to Seagrass community for worship and an Easter Egg Hunt.

Parents are welcome to attend. Please make sure your child has signed the bus waiver. Please contact Kirstie for a waiver.

Children may bring a bag or basket to collect eggs. We will have bags available for them if needed.

Easter Egg Hunt

Sunday, April 20th

during the 10:15am Children's Church

The 10:15 am service will have Children's Church and nursery as normal. However, during Children's Church at the 10:15 service, we will have an Easter Egg hunt on the playground. (In case of rain, we will move the egg hunt inside the Children's Building.)

Kids are welcome to bring a small bag or basket that morning to collect eggs.

Vacation Bible School

June 8th - 11th

5:30 - 7:30pm

Join us this summer for Vacation Bible School (VBS). This will be for Ages 4 years old - completed 5th grade.

The theme is: Live It Out - Discover How to Love Like Jesus.

Woodlawn Students News

Wednesdays from 5:00 - 7:00pm

in the Youth/CR Bldg & cafe

Our 4^th Annual Open Gym is April 11th at Frank Brown Park from 6:00 - 8:00pm. Come hang out with us! We will have basketball, dodgeball tournament, pickleball, four square, badminton, and of course, SNACKS! This is a great event to invite your friends to!

April 16th is a Family Serve Night at Seagrass. Parents you are invited to come! Our students will be helping lead Worship, serve communion, build relationships with the residents, and put on an Easter egg hunt for Woodlawn Kids. Seagrass is one of our close Mission Partners, so make plans to join us!

We will be finishing out the year with a series called At the Movies. We will have 3 weeks of popcorn, soda, and candy while we watch movies and see how faith intersects with film! We hope to see you there!

We Care Hours

We Care is a ministry of Woodlawn Church!

We Care serviced 157 families during the month of February. Without the generous donations and support of our Woodlawn family, this would not have been possible. While we appreciate the donation of empty egg cartons, we no longer have a need for them. For now, all families receive one carton of eggs a visit if they have the capability of cooking. Once again, our wish list in April consists of shelf stable milk, dry milk or canned milk. Thank you and have a blessed Easter season celebrating our risen Lord!

The Woodlawn Way is an introduction to the life and membership of Woodlawn. Here's what we'll cover together:



• Introduction to the ministry of Woodlawn Church & understanding faith in Christ & church membership.
• Essential habits that every believer needs to become a fully devoted follower of Jesus Christ.
• Discover your spiritual gifts in order to see how God combines them with your personality & passions for the best fit in ministry.
• Connect you with ministries for service according to your personality, passions, & spiritual gifts as well as a discipleship group for spiritual growth & development.

The Foundry - A Men's Ministry

Tuesday, April 1st at 6:30pm

Plan on joining us for a time of fellowship, worship, testimonials, a message, and a time for prayer; our guest speaker will be Tyler Butler. Men of all ages are welcome, so feel free to bring your sons. We look forward to seeing you there.

Oasis Life Group

In the book The Truth in True Crime, J Warren Wallace shares 15 critical insights about human nature that he learned from years of chasing criminals and killers. He found out that what many learn the hard way while stumbling through life, could have been learned the easy way heeding insight found in Scripture. This is open to all adults. If you are interested in attending or have any questions please text or call Maria Iracheta at 847-756-0254.
