Update from the Provost
I am writing to provide an update on one of us Oratorians. And that Oratorian is I! At the end of this academic year, I will step down as principal of Regis High School to work full-time in support of the pastoral ministries of the Brooklyn Oratory. In light of the redevelopment of the 109-111 Willoughby site at St Boniface as well as our continuing efforts to expand the Oratory’s outreach to the college and university students in the greater Downtown Brooklyn area, the Congregation feels it important that I take on a greater role in support of these important and demanding responsibilities. While I have greatly enjoyed my nineteen years at Regis as both a teacher and administrator, I look forward with enthusiasm and joy to the new ways I may be of greater service to our Oratory community and its work. During this time of transition, I ask for your prayers in a particular way. And please also know that in this month of the Holy Souls, we at the Oratory continue to pray daily for all our community’s beloved dead, especially those who were so generous to the Oratory in life in their many and diverse ways.
