1. 2 Corinthians 4: 16-18 “Therefore we do not lose heart, but though our outer man is decaying, yet our inner man is being renewed day by day. For momentary, light affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison, while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal.” Father God, what an amazing design You have given to us, life filled with all sorts of experiences, blessings, problems, abilities and wisdom. Inside all of these You allow us to experience You in our person. But the things we cannot see are really the most important and they go through eternity. Thank You Father for producing in us an eternal weight of glory. We cannot even imagine what this will be.

2.Acts 8: 29-30, 35 “Then the Spirit said to Philip, ‘Go up and join this chariot.’ Philip ran up and heard him reading Isaiah the prophet, and said, ‘Do you understand what you are reading?’ Then Philip opened his mouth, and beginning from this Scripture he preached Jesus to him.” Father, we rejoice that Your Spirit calls us to salvation. Thank You for using believers to proclaim Jesus to the world. Thank You for our pastors as they preach and teach of Jesus. Help us to show our appreciation for their faithfulness.
