National Prevention Week Statewide Prevention Celebration - May 17, 2025
This year's statewide prevention celebration will be held at Danbury Fair Mall, from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
If your organization is interested in tabling and participating at this year's National Prevention Week Statewide Celebration, 20 tables are available. Set up is by 10:00 AM, and breakdown is at 6:00 PM. Tables may be staffed with 2 volunteers at a time, with a maximum of six different volunteers if working in shifts.

YouthRecoveryCT.org is also thrilled to share a newly redesigned website. Youth Recovery CT empowers youth and young adults (ages 16-30) on their recovery journey from substance use and other behaviors by offering facilitated peer recovery groups, social activities, and access to recovery information. - Medication lock boxes and Deterra pouches to support the safe storage and disposal of medications.
- Harm reduction materials such as naloxone and test strips for fentanyl and xylazine.
- Educational materials on substance use and mental health disorders, prevention, health promotion and wellness, treatment and recovery, and other related topics.

Trainings for your employees or college students | Staff at the Connecticut Center for Prevention, Wellness and Recovery are available to provide ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training) , A-SBIRT (Adolescent Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment), Mental Health First AID, QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer Suicide Prevention), SMART Recovery and other trainings to your employees, volunteers or college students. We can travel to your location, or schedule a training in our conference room. | | | |
