October 2023

As autumn casts its spell over the valley, we find ourselves enchanted by the changing seasons. Yet while the leaves redden and the air grows crisper, one thing remains constant: the unwavering commitment and collaborative spirit of our champions. At Valley Humane Society, working together isn't just one of our values; it's our heartbeat. Through the active support of our community, volunteers, and friends, Valley Humane saves and improves the lives of people and animals every day.

So gather close this month, as shadows lengthen and jack-o'-lanterns begin to gleam, and help us stir up a little magic...whether raising a glass of Cuvée Dray to toast successful partnerships or celebrating Make a Dog's Day with Subaru. Be sure to make your reservation for next month's Tips for Change at Gianni's Italian Bistro, where we'll be brewing up big tips in exchange for the treats you enjoy. Join us in making futures glow a little brighter while having cauldrons of fun!

Changing Seasons, Changing Lives: NePAW 2023

Your kindness and collaboration as a supporter warms our hearts as we work tirelessly to ensure a brighter future for cats and dogs! One way you can support Valley Humane is through participating in National Estate Planning Awareness Week (NePAW) from October 16-22.

NePAW is the perfect time to embark on a journey to craft a plan that not only takes care of your loved ones but also leaves a lasting legacy for homeless animals. Our partners at FreeWill offer user-friendly tools that allow you to create your own will, along with essential estate-planning documents—all at no cost. By including a gift to Valley Humane in your will, you can leave a legacy that continues to save and enhance the lives of Tri-Valley companion animals for generations to come, like our beloved Bob, who would find comfort in your thoughtful contribution.
