A Note From Our Children's Minister

RBC Parents,

The Christmas season is quickly approaching! Preparations are already underway for the yearly Living Nativity! Living Nativity will be Sunday, December 11th at 6pm. Kids are encouraged to participate as angels or shepherds. We will have rehearsal at 4:30pm on Sunday, December 11th before feeding the kids and getting them in costume. Dinner and costumes are provided. Kids just need to decide whether they will be a shepherd or an angel. If they want to be an angel, they need to come dressed in white. We hope you and your family will join us for this tradition.

Kids will be singing in the morning service on Sunday, December 11th. They will have a brief rehearsal at 10am. No special dress is required.

The Kids Ministry has purchased 2023 Prayer Calendars for each family. These provide short, daily prompts to help you and your family spend time in prayer together. They will be on the welcome desk in the children's wing in the coming weeks so be sure to grab one for your family!

If you have any questions, feel free to email me at camille@rbcstaff.com.

1.  Matthew 1: 21 “She will bear a Son; and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.” NASB Father God, what good news and how amazing is Your plan to save the world. Father, even after we know Your plan we continue to be amazed that You would concern Yourself with us and would offer us salvation. Help us to share this good news with all who do not know You. Give them courage to receive You into their hearts.

2. 1 Chronicles 4: 10 “Now Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, ‘Oh that You would bless me indeed and enlarge my border, and that Your hand might be with me, and that You would keep me from harm that it may not pain me!’ and God granted him what he requested.” NASB Father, like Jabez, we come before You asking that You bless us and grant us a deeper relationship with You. Help us to use Your blessing to bless others and help us to obey Your leading? Would You protect us on our journey?
