Sharing God's Work Along the East Coast
Greetings!
CCI Fall Tour 2023 has been going on for more than a month, since August 15th. Our journey has taken us to various churches and donors along the east coast of America, where we have been warmly welcomed and shown true hospitality. Our team has been sharing what God has done in Cambodia and other countries through the work of CCI.
During our tour, I had the pleasure of meeting with the Cambodian Evangelical Church in Saint Petersburg, Florida. I was warmly welcomed with food and praise songs on Saturday night. The members of this Khmer church were grateful for CCI's work in training church leaders and making disciples around Cambodia, and we had a wonderful time of fellowship.

Staff Update
We are thankful for the opportunity to start another new CCI class in Bati district, Takeo province. Pray for the teachers, that the Lord will prepare their hearts and minds to teach these classes. Pray for the students, may the Lord guide their hearts and minds so they may better understand the gospel.
Meas Sat visited and encouraged the class in Kampot. Please continue to pray for his travels as he journeys here twice a month, an hour and a half by car from home, to teach a group of leaders. He is very happy and excited about it and thanks God for putting it in his heart to see the needs of brothers in Christ in Kampot province for the Word of God.
Testimony
From Hean Thol, a student in Takeo province, who is currently studying Book #2: Old Testament Survey:
"I'm so happy! Christ the Lord has given me the privilege of attending the CCI training class in Samrong district, Takeo province to study His Word. This is a good training class for me.

In the meantime, please pray for me and my studies so that I may better understand the Lord's will. May I be strong in faith and the grace of Jesus Christ, and may I be brave to share my faith and teach the gospel to the communities where I live and in other communities, so they may hear the gospel of Christ and accept Him as their Savior. May God bless you all." Amen.
Prayer Requests & Praises
Thank you for your continued prayers! We praise the Lord for another month of serving Him on the mission field through equipping church.

·      Pray for Rotha, who is planting a new church in a village located south of Siem Reap. Rotha is dedicated to spreading the Gospel in the flood-prone villages. Please pray for those who are laying the foundation of the church on water and preparing to build it. It costs approximately $5,000 to use bamboo as a raft before constructing the roof.

·      Pray for our teachers: for the wisdom to equip the saints for the work of ministry.

·      Pray for the country of Cambodia: it’s government, its leaders, its students, it’s future, and pray for the local churches that we work with to grow IN CHRIST.
 
·      Please pray that God raises up new trainers and coordinators to meet the need of the Gospel in Cambodia.

·     The staff of CCI Cambodia is looking forward to the Global Conference to be held in Thailand in November. Many would like to go, but do not have the money to buy plane tickets. Please pray for God’s provision for this. If you feel led to help, please click below. Thank you.
