The first half of the school year has been exciting!

As we enter into this very special time of the year, we want each of you to know how appreciative we are for your prayers, kind words, participation, and financial support. Our prayers are being answered.

We are looking forward to the second half of the school year and the many activities and events we have on our calendar for our young boys. We're going to need your full support and resources to carry out all of the activities and events. This is the Giving Season; our Giving Tuesday banner is posted below. Please take a moment to visit our donate page and contribute to our work. Again, we have an exciting year ahead, and we will need both your prayers and your resources to make it happen.

Thank You!

#Giving Tuesday is Here!!

The Brotherhood B2M is a fraternal organization for teenage boys. The focus of our work is on personal leadership development (or personal development).

There are few things in life more satisfying than contributing to the positive growth and development of teenage boys. We are so grateful for the support and kind words of encouragement we constantly receive from our supporters.

Please consider making a financial contribution to The Brotherhood so that we can continue the great work we have started. Again, THANK YOU for your support!

The First Half of the Year Coming to a Close!
AWESOME...just AWESOME!
We have been BUSY!! The first four months of the school year have been exciting and fun. Our Fall College Tour last week was special. We visited three colleges here in Memphis, LeMoyne-Owen College, Southwest Community College, and the University of Memphis. The fellas learned a lot! The highlight of the first quarter, however, was our Annual Leadership Retreat. It was both informative and a lot of fun! Personal leadership and community service continue to be at the center of our teaching and learning process. Keep us in your prayers!
Thanks for the tour, LeMoyne-Owen College, our boys really enjoyed it!
Thank you Southwest, they learned a lot about the Community College options.
The University of Memphis always comes through!
The first quarter has been fun, with a lot of teachings and learning about Personal Leadership and the importance of serving our community.
Learning about Personal Leadership!
University of Memphis Football Game!
Thank you Memphis City Beautiful!
St. Jude Walk/Run Event. Learning the importance of giving back and serving our community.
Self scoring Principles of Personal Leadership.
Our Annual Retreat was simply AWESOME!

A Few Tips for our Dads!

Dads, becoming more involved in your son’s life can take a lot of different forms. Your son can benefit greatly at every stage of his growth and development from your involvement. Here are just a few ideas: read with him, join the school’s parent-teacher organization, or chaperone at a school or Brotherhood event. Volunteer as a coach, or ask your son’s coach in what way they could use your help. Take a rainy Saturday and turn it into a father/son movie night!

Wait, that gives me an Idea!

Take time to be a positive and supporting part of your son’s life. Watch him grow and develop and be the dad every son wants, needs, and deserves. If you need to speak with someone who does it well, see father/son duo, Mr. Willie Beckley II & III (the photo)!
