ATS receives $5.57 million grant to coordinate Pathways initiative

ATS identifies return to normal pattern of enrollment trends
Although shifts could still occur as the remaining schools report, there are some interesting trends being identified in the 90% of ATS schools that have reported their fall 2021 enrollment numbers. Overall, 48% of schools experienced enrollment increased and 52% of schools reported enrollment decreases. Read more. Listen to the article.
ATS provides insight on member school faculty trends
In the past year, the American Association of University Professors (AAUP) wrote a report
on the Economic Status of the Profession of university professors. The report comments on the broader annual survey that AAUP publishes, offering reflections on employment, salaries and benefits, the impact of COVID-19, and institutional health. Read more. Listen to the article.
ATS schools share learnings from multiracial context project

ATS Women in Leadership program hosts fall 2021 summit
In October, the ATS Women in Leadership initiative sponsored a virtual summit event called Learning Together, Growing Together, and Building Capacity for Leadership in ATS Schools. The two-week event focused on helping women build leadership skill capacities in decision making, grant writing, networking/building social capital, change management, and strategic planning. Lake Institute offers Doctoral Dissertation Fellowship
The Lake Institute on Faith & Giving is offering PhD students the opportunity to apply for the 2022-2023 Lake Doctoral Dissertation Fellowship, worth $25,000. The Lake Doctoral Dissertation Fellowship supports the last year of dissertation research that engages issues within religion and philanthropy or faith and giving. Applicants representing all fields of study are encouraged to apply. The link to the application, along with more information regarding the fellowship, can be found on the Lake Institute website. Applications are now being accepted until January 15, 2022.

The Association of Theological Schools in the United States and Canada (ATS) is a membership organization of graduate theological schools. ATS Programs and Services offers educational events and resources to assist member schools with best practices, development of peer networks, production of research, and exploration of data. The Commission on Accrediting of ATS accredits the schools and approves the degree programs.
