Happy New Year!!!!!
If you happen to be among the vast majority of us who feel 2020 began as a dud and ended with a thud, please hop on board for a little time traveling back to the year 1908. It was precisely at the stroke of midnight as 1907 was disappearing into 1908 that a 700-pound "electric ball" fell from the flagpole atop the New York Times building in New York City marking the first-ever ball-drop in Times Square. Just imagine all the things that could have happened that night….most of them very bad. But something miraculous happened that New Year’s Eve, it worked! Because someone dared to take a chance, a tradition was born in 1908 that has continued for 113 consecutive years. The ball drop in Times Square remains an enduring symbol of a fresh, hope-filled start to each new year.
Sometimes we just have to take a chance that everything is going to work out. That’s the way we are choosing to approach 2021 at The Automobile Gallery & Event Center. Accuse me of being an optimist, but I believe a great year awaits us and we are happy to invite you along for the ride. In this month’s Gallery Newsletter, you will see all the exciting events we have planned for the coming year. We promise to be responsible, be safe and be dedicated to our mission and to you, our wonderful clients and visitors.
By now you may be curious to know what became of 1908 after a top-heavy projectile plummeted in Times Square without incident. I’m happy to report the year ended with Wilbur Wright of Wright Brothers fame remaining airborne for nearly two-and-a-half-hours, the longest flight in history to that point. Imagine if Wilbur had refused to take a chance that good things were going to happen. In that spirit may we all take flight in 2021!

National Bobblehead Day
Today!

Today, January 7th,2021 is National Bobblehead Day (Yes, there is such a thing!). In honor of this great occasion, The Automobile Gallery & Event Center is proud to present our great friends Joyce Lyn and Steve Altieri with 1 of 1967 limited edition Bobbleheads with Bart Starr in his Super Bowl I MVP Corvette. Though they reside in Wallingford, CT, Joyce Lyn and Steve have maintained a strong connection to the Packer legend for five decades culminating with their purchase of the “real” Bart Starr Super Bowl I MVP Corvette, a 1967 Stingray.

We are deeply honored to have this valuable vestige of Packer history on display at the Gallery in completely unrestored condition. Come visit us at the Gallery and learn how a 12 year-old boy’s book report led him to reach for the ultimate Starr! |
This Saturday, January 9th, would have been Bart Starr’s 87th birthday. A classier gentleman you will never meet.

Brunch prepared by Chefusion, and Bottomless Bloody Marys and Mimosas are included in the ticket price. All of that, AND you are able to tour the Gallery and see everything from a 1908 Cadillac Model T to our newest addition, the 2020 Ford GT!
There are TWO seatings - 10:30am and 12:30pm - this will allow for more social distancing. Facemasks will be required for entry as well as when touring the cars, they can be removed when eating and drinking

Shamrock Craft Beer Invitational

You have asked, and we have answered! The Automobile Gallery's Shamrock Craft Beer Invitational presented by Robinson, Inc, is a go and the tickets go on sale TODAY!!!!
The Automobile Gallery & Event Center is excited to announce the 3rd Annual Shamrock Craft Beer Invitational on March 6th, from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm. General Admission is $45.00.
TWENTY of the finest craft breweries from all four corners of Wisconsin are coming to compete for the People’s Choice (Popular Vote Beer), Best in Show (Judges Select Beer), and The Gemütlichkeit Award (Popular Vote Brewery).. Sample more than 100 beers with your own commemorative 5 oz. tasting glass.
Those of you looking for a little extra time to enjoy all of the craft breweries and devour some Irish favorites should purchase our VIP Tickets ($65.00). VIPs get in 1 hour early (2:00 PM), get a commemorative 16 oz. beer glass and enjoy the VIP only food provided by St. Brendan’s Inn.
We have re-arranged our normal set up for this event to allow for social distancing between beer vendors and have taken all precautions to make this a safe event, including limiting the amount of people that can attend this year's event, which means tickets will go fast!

Inaugural Event
Cookies with Santa
December 5, 2020

Thank you to all who attended our Inaugural Cookies with Santa Event at The Automobile Gallery. A great time was had by all!
Children of all ages came to sit and have their picture taken with Santa and receive a Christmas cookie from him, all of the way from the North Pole!
A plexiglass divider was positioned between Santa and our guests who were seated in Santa's Sleigh for the day, a 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle! How could it get any better than that?
Once again, our friends at Rick's Toybox donated wooden cars to all of the children who attended. We send a huge thank you to Rick and Rick's Toybox for putting smiles on the faces of our young visitors and their parents on this special day.

Holiday movies playing in our event center and each child received an individual coloring book with individual crayons to take home.
Keep your eyes open around Eastertime, you may just see the Easter Bunny pay a visit to The Automobile Gallery!
