Based on current electricity rates, Monroe customers currently participating in the MTCEA program will be reverting to the current tariff rate with JCP&L in December to receive the lowest available pricing. The transfer will be automatic in December, no action is required on your part.
As Monroe is committed to providing the lowest cost electricity on the market, the Township will be soliciting bids next year from third-party suppliers in the hopes that electric costs will be lower than the JCP&L rate at that time.
