PLE Crew,
We want to wish you a very Happy Holiday! Yesterday, we finished off the semester with an Ugly Sweater Day and an assembly led by 2nd grade that centered on our Habit of Character Bravery! They did an incredible job and we are so thankful for their encouragement to try hard things, be willing to take risks to better ourselves, and have the self confidence to advocate for one’s self and others. Great job, 2nd Grade!
Elementary Progress Reports (EPR’s) will be available to you all tomorrow in EngageED. Please see these instructions on how to access your child’s EPR: Elementary Progress Report Access Instructions. A huge thank you to my teachers for the time they have put into evaluating students progress and providing meaningful feedback!
I would like to highlight one of PIne Lane’s uniqueness and the amazing work that is occurring. We are very fortunate to have a STEM program at Pine Lane that reinforces our classroom teachers' instruction. Ms. Spiller truly does an excellent job inspiring our students in this field through engaging activities and meaningful instruction. I would strongly encourage you to check out our students' work that we have highlighted on our STEM website: 2nd Quarter STEM Projects.
Lastly, I would like to express my deep gratitude to our community for your incredible generosity that exemplifies our PLE Habit of Character Service. You all are a tremendous example to our students. I was overwhelmed by the donations to our Toy Drive and the Warm and Fuzzy Drive. Our families who accessed the Holiday Shop were so grateful. A special thank you to the Coffee Cabin, Parker Trailers, Student Council, and our PTO for their help in making this possible!
I wish all a wonderful Holiday Break and a Happy New Year! We will see you all back on Tuesday, January 4th!
