[COLUMBUS, Ohio] — On Saturday March 5, Councilmember Emmanuel Remy, in partnership with Keep Columbus Beautiful, hosted the 4th Annual Cleaner Columbus Citywide Cleanup, rallying over 200 volunteers to take action against litter and beautify public spaces. This year’s effort led to the removal of an impressive 16,720 pounds of trash, making a tangible difference in neighborhoods across the city.

“We are proud to have kicked off earth month with a successful litter pick up," said Councilmember Remy, "Seeing our community come together to make a cleaner Columbus year after year is inspiring.”

Keep Columbus Beautiful, a City of Columbus community improvement program and a national affiliate of Keep America Beautiful, provided supplies and guidance to volunteers. The event underscored the city’s commitment to litter prevention and community-driven beautification.
