To encourage everyone to do their holiday shopping locally, the Pike County Chamber of Commerce is offering up to $500 in gift cards as prizes at the end of this campaign. To enter for a chance to win, follow the guidelines below:

Between Small Business Saturday (Nov. 26) and Christmas Day, any purchase(s) from a local business, restaurant, or attraction in Pike County, totaling at least $25, is eligible to enter.
Eligible purchases include items on your wish list, visits to local attractions, as well as gift cards/certificates to local businesses.
You may submit multiple entries.
To enter, provide your name, email, phone, and a copy of the receipt(s).
There are three ways to enter:

Office space available in the Pike County Chamber of Commerce building located on St. Rt. #104, in Waverly. The highly visible office suite is accessed through the front entrance lobby with approximately 1173 sq. ft. of available space. The front office is listed as 20’ X 36’ and the rear office as 12.5’ X 24’ and includes a separate Restroom and Utility Room. The large space is available for multiple work-spaces or as a large office and meeting room according to tenant needs. The rental agreement includes the scheduled use of a separate large conference room and refreshment area at no additional cost.

Paints Announce 30th Season Schedule

In conjunction with the Prospect League, the defending league champion Chillicothe Paints, presented by Adena Health System, announced their 2023 game schedule Tuesday. Chillicothe opens its 30^th season on the road at Lafayette Wednesday, May 31.

The Paints return to VA Memorial Stadium for their home opener at 7:05 p.m. against the Champion City Kings. Along with $2 draft beer for Thirsty Thursday, there will also be a postgame fireworks show to celebrate the opening of a new season...

Adena Pike Medical Center Recognized with Performance Leadership Awards for Rural Health

Adena Pike Medical Center (APMC) has been recognized with multiple 2022 Performance Leadership Awards for its excellence in quality and outcomes. Compiled by The Chartis Center for Rural Health, the Performance Leadership Awards honor those rural hospitals across the United States performing in the top 25 percent in quality and outcome indicators established by Chartis.

APMC was one of only 12 Ohio hospitals recognized with a quality award and one of just 15 across the state to be honored for its outcomes.

“Critical access hospitals play an important role in the communities they serve,” said Dave Zanni, APMC senior operations executive officer. “Recognitions like these can give patients the confidence to know that their local hospital can be trusted with the care they need when they need it most.
