WELCOME KRISTA HARTWELL
Krista Hartwell combines her estate, charitable and wealth transfer planning experience with a unique background in state and federal income tax law to provide Weinstock Manion clients with strategic income and transfer tax advice to meet their tax and succession planning goals. Krista is adept at navigating and resolving complex tax issues, and counseling clients on wealth preservation tax strategies. They can depend on her to provide thoughtful analysis of state, federal, and international tax laws. Prior to joining Weinstock Manion, Krista honed her skills in international tax, and is experienced in structuring inbound and outbound wealth transfers planning. Her prior experience also includes representing taxpayers before the IRS and FTB in federal and state tax controversies.
WELCOME DESIREE DESURRA
Desiree DeSurra applies an extensive and broad-based legal background in taxation and litigation to advising and assisting high net worth individuals and families, helping them navigate complex trust and estates planning matters, taxation issues, and ongoing and potential trust disputes. Desiree specializes in planning, taxation law matters and litigation with a primary focus on sophisticated gift, estate, and generation-skipping transfer tax planning, wealth transfer planning, and business succession planning for high-net-worth clients. She has also managed a wide range of complex litigation matters, including white-collar investigations, contract disputes, business torts such as fraud, defamation, interference with contract and economic advantage, professional negligence, and securities fraud in state and federal courts.
