Help Us Spread God’s Love with Operation Christmas Child - 
A Peace Mission Opportunity October/November 2021

Looking for a great opportunity to share Jesus with others? You can spread God's love and provide an opportunity for a child in need to hear the Gospel by packing Operation Christmas Child (OCC) shoebox gifts!

Samaritan’s Purse partners with local churches worldwide to share the Good News of Jesus Christ, and since 1993, more than 188 million children in more than 170 countries and territories have received an OCC shoebox. 

While any shoebox will work well for a shoebox gift, Peace has a supply of official OCC shoeboxes and labels available totally free of charge, first come, first serve, at the Operation Christmas Child display tables in the lobby. 
Stop by any time during the month of October to pick up an OCC Shoebox.

Sunday, November 22 is the last day to drop your packed shoebox off at Peace.

Handpan artist Aaron Marsala. 
Aaron is a graduate of the University of Kentucky and received his Master’s in World Music at Northern Illinois University.
The handpan is an amazing instrument that looks and sounds like a steel pan turned inside out. See you this Sunday!

Children's Church (Preschool-Grade 5)
Available at Both Worship Services
We are excited to offer Children's Church this Fall so children may experience worship with their families and also have time to learn at their age level. Children's Church is available at both our worship services at 8:15 and 10:45 am.
Children's Church will take the place of our traditional Sunday School.

Fall Sermon Series- Books Still Available

“More Than A Carpenter”, books are still available in the Lobby Sunday morning for $3 each. The sermon series continues until Sunday, November 21, so there is plenty of time to read along. They can also be purchased online at amazon.com or christianbooks.com.
Family Pumpkin Carving Event October 22 from 6-7:30 PM
Family Pumpkin Carving Event!
Friday, October 22 from 6-7:30 P.M. Families can register for a Pumpkin and join in the fun while carving it together! You’ll also be able to decorate a cookie, and enjoy a special pumpkin craft! 
Come in your Halloween Costumes and enjoy a goody bag as you take your pumpkin home!

Women's Ministry Opportunities
WEBS is offered both in-person and online (Zoom) on Tuesday nights beginning at 7:00 PM.
Our DVD-based study is called “The Rock, the Road, and the Rabbi”.
No materials need to be purchased for this study. We meet in Room 304. If you prefer to meet with us online, please email Kerby Kerber to sign up to receive a Zoom link to attend.
Fall study is called "When God is Present: A Journey Through the Book of Acts". 

JoyBreak is offered in two formats:  
In-person: Wednesday mornings from 9:30-10:45 am in the Great Room.
Online: Weekly recorded teaching video sessions and pdf study guides are emailed to participants.

Blood Drive Update
17 Blood Donors Raise $425 for Starving Kids
Thanks to everyone who gave at the October 5 Peace Blood Drive.
Your donation will help save lives in hospitals now operating with dangerously low supplies of blood. Your generous gift also means that $425 goes to our Live the Love MobilePack for Feed My Starving Children on November 19-20, 2021. Details to sign-up coming soon.
Education Hour Sundays at 9:30 AM

9:30 am. A Children's Activity Room is available while parents are attending Bible study.
