New Opportunity for 2-3 year olds! In January, First Connections will begin offering the ParentChild+ program to local families* through a new grant from the MA Department of Early Education and Care! This free program brings fun and engaging early learning experiences right to your home. Each week an Early Learning Specialist visits bringing a high quality book or toy that the family will get to keep. The specialist models reading, conversations, and play activities designed to promote language, literacy, and school readiness. Families can enter the program when their child is 24 to 36 months and participate for up to 2 years. This is especially helpful for families who cannot easily access our traditional programs, due to lack of transportation, a language barrier, having multiple children under age six, complex work schedules, single parenting, or other circumstances. Any interested family may inquire.* If your family would like to participate or learn more email firstconnections@jri.org or text ParentChild+ to 978-505-4429.

*Must reside in Acton, Bedford, Boxborough, Carlisle, Concord, Harvard, Lincoln, Littleton, Maynard, Sudbury, or Westford.
