From Our Head of School

Dear Prince Families:

It’s homecoming week, and we have a ton of fun planned for the students: themed dress-up days, a student-led on-campus parade, block party, the Wolverine Growl (if you’re new to Prince, you need to come and experience this “super pep-rally”), class competitions for best t-shirts/banners/homecoming skits, and more! Mr. and Miss PACS will be recognized before this week is over with selections made by their classmates based upon the Fruit of the Spirt found in Galatians 5:22-23. The week’s celebrations end with a homecoming dance Saturday night for our high school students.

This is an energetic “crazy week” when the scale tips in favor of school spirit versus academic progress, and with our recent strong finish to the first academic quarter, the timing of this year’s homecoming week is perfect! Parents, we look forward to seeing you this Thursday at 6:00 p.m. for our block party and “Wolverine Growl.”

GHSA State Softball Tournament

on Wednesday, October 20^th

at 1:00 and 3:30 pm

Admission will be $10.00 for all.

Homecoming Parade

Friday, October 22nd at 10:30 am

The Homecoming Parade is led by the high school student body and circles the school on "Prince Avenue". The parade is an exciting culmination of Spirit Week and a fun time for the entire school!

Facilities Team Job Opening

Prince Avenue Baptist Church has an

immediate opening for a facilities team member.

This is a full-time position (32-40 hours a week) and carries benefits.
Responsibilities include setup and takedown for events, facilitating normal weekly services as needed, and routine maintenance tasks.
Hours vary based on need, but there is flexibility.
Must be trustworthy, reliable, in good physical condition, and flexible with times and schedules.
Moving heavy carts, setting up chairs and tables, and carrying heavy loads is a requirement.
Basic computer skills are necessary.
Skills in one of the building trade disciplines are a plus.
Background check and drug test required.
Must love the Lord and have a servant’s heart.
