Explore Columbia via food!
Joining us for lunch will be Silvia Palacios.
About Silvia (she/her/hers):
Silvia was born in Medellín, Colombia, South America. She came with her family to the US four months ago because the company he husband worked for relocated him after 23 years. Silvia has been married for 20 years and has two beautiful children, 16 and 13.
Her Connection with cooking
Her mother needed to start working after her dad passed away, so her grandma was in charge of her. She spent a lot of time together in her kitchen. She learned from her that the best way to make someone feel good and show their importance is through good food, carefully constructed and served with love.
It has been 40 years since that happened, and here she is, in the kitchen, connecting with people she loves and wanting to make them feel good with food.
