The previous clue came from the Saint John's Abbey Cemetery!

This cross was designed by Oblate Brother Frank Karcmarcik, who you may remember for his role in designing of the SJU Veterans Memorial, in the early 1950's. The area where the Abbey Cemetery is located was cleared in the winter of 1875 and Father Wolfgang Northman was tasked with designing the new cemetery. Somewhat ironically, Father Wolfgang was the first to be interred in the cemetery after passing in February of 1876. The cemetery features two wooden crosses atop sets of granite pillars, both of which were designed by Brother Karcmarcik and added during the wave of renovations that swept across campus in 1953. The cross featured above can be found near the Alumni & Friends section of the cemetery.
