Program Spotlight
CRC Success in Oceanside

Community Resource Center expanded to Oceanside last year and is providing life changing assistance to both seniors and families there. In order to spread the word and let people know that CRC is here to help, staff have been doing outreach by visiting apartment complexes and senior housing complexes. They visited more than ten different complexes to talk to residents and landlords. CRC staff have been assisting with benefits applications and rental assistance in Oceanside for over a year.

  • Schedule a class: Our education and prevention manager, Luis Canseco, provides classes about domestic violence, teen dating violence and healthy relationships to local schools and groups. Contact Luis at lcanseco@crcncc.org

Holiday Baskets: We need your support!
This year, our 39th Annual Holiday Baskets program will serve 900 households plus 200 seniors. Households will receive food, gifts, blankets and jackets in a drive-through distribution on December 4, while holiday gift bags will be delivered to seniors. The food and other items we provide help ensure everyone has a wonderful holiday experience, while giving low-income households some breathing room, so scarce dollars may be spent on other needs such as rent, utilities or transportation.

Information on how you can help support Holiday Baskets - including donation drive wish lists, how to adopt a family, and more - is now available on our website.
