Envision your New Year
Amidst the parties, glitter, and hoopla marking the end of the current year lays the spark of hope promising change for the coming year. How to envision that year to shine more brightly, overflow with exciting possibilities, and be imbued with peace for all?

Go inside, breathe, and listen to the truth of this moment - that you already shine brightly, have vision to create a fulfilling reality, and can find peace in your heart when you are present. Being grateful for all the wonders you already possess opens the pathway to actively create the enriching life you wish to live.

Yoga practice creates a potent opportunity for creating and living your own peace, plus the tools to share that good with the world. In the words of yoga researcher Sat Bir Singh Khalsa, PhD, C-IAYT, there is a link between internal and collective peace. “I think the idea of peace, both internal and even societal, really comes down to engendering this sense of peace, and harmony, and flow within yourself,” Khalsa explains. **

This Sunday marks the first new moon of 2022 - a time to reflect on your life in the moon's shadow and then catch its increasing light to create intentions for nurturing your heart's deepest desire and passions for 2022. We hope those intentions lead you to your yoga mat, joining us for inspiring classes and workshops at Mountain Spirit Yoga in the coming year!

With love and light in my heart and wishes for peace,
Carla

Exciting Changes for the New Year!
Session Length and New Class Passes
The studio has managed well using the 4 week class model during these last two challenging years. For the new year, we are ready to return to our previous model of 8 week sessions!

What this means for you:
  • 8 weeks of classes on the schedule instead of 4 weeks
  • register for up to 8 weeks of your favorite classes at one time
  • new passes for greater flexibility - single class pass, 4 class pass, 8 class pass, and an unlimited class pass, with 8 weeks to use them!
  • passes now labelled and priced as 60 or 75 minute classes, rather than "Regular" and "Senior"
Class Size
  • maximum number of spaces has increased to 11 per class
