Road Closure - Prospect Avenue
It was brought to our attention yesterday that Prospect Ave will be closed for most of next week, making Xavier inaccessible from the west (coming from Highway 41). While we do not have details of the project at this time, we expect all those who usually use Prospect Ave from the west to need an alternate route to school.

The simplest path is to take the College Ave exit and head east until Mason St. Turn right on Mason St. and go straight until you reach Prospect Ave. Turn right on Prospect to reach Xavier.

Those more familiar with the neighborhood may also try the Spencer St to Lyndale Dr. to Leonard St. to Perkins St to Prospect Ave gauntlet that saves miles but increases complications.

Please make sure student drivers give themselves extra time to get to school to avoid being tardy!
Ethel Moehring Help Your Neighbor Day - We Need You!
On the afternoon of October 19, all students and staff will be participating in our annual Help Your Neighbor Day, where we go out into the community for an afternoon of service. We need parent drivers to make this event happen. You are assigned a small group of students to work with for the afternoon (you'll be done by 3). Both indoor and outdoor sites are available. If you are able to be a group leader for this amazing day, please contact Kate Geenen, Campus Minister.
Congratulations
Congratulations to the girls varsity tennis team for qualifying for the State Tournament. The Hawks are in the "Final Four" and are the defending state champions!

Congratulations also to sophomore May Shimek, who qualified for the State Golf Tournament this weekend in Madison.

Good luck to May and to the tennis team!
Lunch Balances
Please make sure you check your student's lunch balance. Balances must be kept in the positive at all times. Students who are significantly in debt will not be allowed to take anything except the basic lunch.
