Sports Update

Spring Sports are going on now! Our crew is hard at work bringing all the action to your screen.

We had our sports volunteers meeting on Tuesday the 25th. We went over how to commentate and talk about all the different sports available this season and enjoyed pizza and snacks!

On Thursday the 27th, the Sports Journalism Club held a trivia challenge with athletes at the Spring Sports Media Day and that video will be coming soon.

As always, if you are a student, parent, alumni, or sports fan, and want to give broadcasting, podcasting, or camera for sports a try, reach out and we would love to have you!

Youth Update

This Past Month has been packed with Youth Activities! Our Community Programs Winter Session came to an end, and we had such a blast as always working with all the kids! The next session of Community Programs will open for registration at the beginning of April and sessions will start after April Vacation Week.

We also held a screening event for the worldwide premiere of "Hit" the short film created by our February Vacation Workshop students! It was awesome to hear from the filmmakers themselves about the process of making the film. We hope to hold more screening events like this in the future!

Finally, we had some of our middle school volunteers (pictured above) film Geography Night! This is an annual event at the North Andover Middle School celebrating all things Geography related. Our CAM Middle Schoolers captured interviews and b-roll of the event, so stay tuned for the final video!

Looking forward, we will be having our Youth Annual Meeting and Youth Video Contest! The prompt for the contest is to create a 2 minute or less video about why you come to North Andover CAM. The winner will win a brand new Polaroid Camera! Submissions are due on April 8th and the Youth Annual Meeting will take place on April 10th.
