We have passed our goal of $60,000 and the fundraising period

ends this week! The Get Movin’ Fund Hub will close the online

portion of our fundraiser at 11:59 pm on 12/16/22. This is the

deadline for fundraising to count toward individual incentives &

the classroom competition.

The Top class (% to goal) in each grade as of Sunday afternoon

Please turn in original entries along with this flyer (Click here) by December 15, 2022 to the office.

Instructions:

• Both Black and White (think Coloring Book) and Full Color submissions are welcome!
• Use markers or bold pencils and submit on standard white paper
• Design can also be computer created and printed out 
• All Designs should be vertical (portrait size) an 8.5” wide x 11” tall
• Keep your entry protected in a large envelope. 
• Attach this flyer to your entry
• 1 submission per student

This list of candidates and linked ballot (below) has been composed for the purpose of holding parent/guardian elections for Jefferson’s School Site Council (SSC). The SSC is comprised of five parents and five staff members.  

It is the responsibility of the SSC to review both a Single School Site Plan (SSSP) that is responsive to the needs of our students and annually review a District standardized School Safety plan (SSP) that is modified to meet Jefferson’s needs.

At this time, there are currently three vacant spots on the SSC and ten nominees for the vacancies.  Each nominee has submitted a brief biography which can be found both attached to this e-blast and on the linked SSC Ballot below. To vote, parents and guardians will need to read and review the candidate information in the following section and vote for up to three nominees at the bottom of the third and final ballot section. The three nominees with the most votes will be elected to the SSC. 

All ballots are due by 8:00AM, Friday December 16th via a Google Docs ballot that can be found HERE. Any ballot submitted after that time or with votes for more than five nominees will be discarded and not counted.

It's never too late to join the Jefferson PTA!! We are currently at 742 members and our goal is to have 790 members and reach 100% participation. We are 94% there! We need 48 more members to reach the honor of the PTA 100 Club! If you haven't done so, JOIN NOW!
