Benson Bears enjoy a great day, Legacy students collaborate and ATP celebrates Halloween

This week, we visit Benson Elementary as our Bears are excited for school with a focus on improvement "everyday, in every way." In addition, Legacy students wow us with their Rube Goldburg machines. And our ATP students plan their Halloween social, a chance to enjoy the fun of the holiday together. Enjoy a review of another great week in TUSD!

Loma Vista Halloween

A Howling Good Halloween Celebration at Loma Vista

Across Tustin Unified, students and staff enjoyed some Halloween fun on campus this week. At schools like Loma Vista, costume parades were the chance for students to share their spooky spirit. It was all treats and no tricks as volunteers shared ghoulish goodies with students following the parade. We loved seeing our Cougars enjoy a spook-tacular morning together!

SMA Day of the Dead

Sycamore Wolves Remember Loved Ones at Day of the Dead Family Night

This week, Sycamore Magnet Academy hosted a Day of the Dead family night. A school altar was on display, featuring student submitted or created images of loved ones. Families participated in fun activities, viewed the images on display, and watched a special dance performance. It’s clear that SMA Wolves will always remember a member of their pack!

Improved search functionality and better navigation to frequently requested webpages are only a few of the improvements our redesign offers. These improvements will allow us to better serve our families and community. We look forward to sharing additional updates as we get closer to the launch of our redesigned pages.

Cross Country Festival

TPSF Hosts Middle School Cross Country Festival

On Wednesday, the Tustin Public Schools Foundation hosted its annual TUSD Middle School Cross Country Festival, a part of the Save Our Sports Program. Sixth through eighth grade student athletes from all middle schools enjoyed a fun day of competition at Yorba Regional Park. This Sunday, schools will compete in their final race of the season at the 31st Annual Dino Dash. The winning team will be awarded the Dino Dash Cup.

In addition to the Middle School Cross Country race, the Dino Dash offers events for all ages and abilities. Join us this Sunday, November 6. Registration is still open. We look forward to seeing you on Sunday in support of all TUSD schools!

Halloween 1972

Celebrating 50 Years of Excellence in TUSD

As we celebrate our fifty-year legacy of excellence with the golden anniversary of TUSD, we are excited to share photos from our past. Students from Estock Elementary participated in a Halloween carnival poster contest on October 9, 1972. Winners chosen from each grade were awarded $1 worth of tickets for the carnival, held on the Estock campus on Halloween.

We look forward to sharing additional photos from our rich history in the coming weeks. If you have a photo to share, please email our Communications Team.
